How to obtain a Qatar Police Clearance?

My mom is currently processing her US Immigration Visa application. She had her interview with the US Embassy last September 09, 2009. As part of her application requirements,she needs to secure a copy of her Qatar Police Clearance, where she used to work as a Private Duty Nurse of the Princess of Qatar (Sheika Aisha Bin Khalifa Al-Thani) from 1985-1986.
We already consulted with the Qatar Embassy in Makati City regarding this matter. In order to obtain a Qatar Police Clearance, we need to submit photocopies of her old passport plus the stamps of her entry and exit dates in Doha, Qatar. Unfortunately, my mom lost the original copy of her previous passport.
Given her situation, do you know of other options/alternatives on how to obtain a Qatar police clearance without her old passport? We are still trying to retrieve my mom's entry and exit dates in Doha, Qatar from the Bureau of Immigration in Manila.
Please do advice me regarding my mom's case. We really need all the advice we can get to solve her problem..

I'm Filipino nationality, presently residing here in the Philippines. I would like to know how can I get a Police Clearance there in Doha Qatar.
I worked at Bin Ghalib Engineering at P.O Box 10069 Doha Qatar if I remembered it correctly I entered Qatar July 1998 and exited August 2000. But due to health problem I resigned thru email was and not able to go back to finish my contract. I'm currently applying for a Canadian Working Visa and one requirement that I must give them is the Police Clearance from Qatar.
I have right now is my latest passport, and I no longer have my old passport since it is already expired and lost it already. I have still have a friend there in Qatar who can assist me. Can I still request this clearance without this old passport. Please help me I am already in the process of finalizing my application at canadian embassy here in manila.

Has anybody received their Qatar Police Clearance- the one requested in the Qatar Embassy in Manila thru DHL?
Do they ever respond to those kinds of request? Do they really process applications? How long did it take to receive?

Doesnt she need Police clearance from home country too?
cid clearance can be obtained at cid in salwa, 3rd r/a from ramada to the right. no need for old passport, cid would have the information from their database of 1st entry and last exit.
a form is available in the waiting room, ladies or gents, for fill up. its in arabic and must be typed (better) also in arabic. u may fill the approximate date of entry and last exit, say month and year only.
any third person could file, but cid would need the latest fingerprints, similar to fingerprints upon entry, 5 fingers, better left and right, including palm prints. though i think 5 fingers right would be ok.
if the applicant is not in qatar, a certified or authenticated fingerprint would need to be attached, including passport pics + the filled up form + passport copies (biopage) + qatar resident/ visa page (better in color printout). these could be acquired from your local police or govt investigation bureau. they would compare these with their original record when the applicant entered qatar.
upon submission + minimal fee (qr10 i think), wait for 2 wks or 15 days, in english and arabic side by side.
