To get visit visa for my wife, bank statement of previous 3 months is necessary

As i want to bring my wife to qatar for 3 months duration.I heard that marriage certificate to be attested first by Indian govt and by qatar.Ia m confused with the bank statement,bcos i dont have any bank account in qatar.
So please tell me whether bank statement is necessary for taking visit visa.

Bank statement is not required for visit visa. You have to submit the application attaching letter from company (indicating position and salary) and employment contract copy. Also attach copy of marriage certificate and birth certificates having Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp.

Apply through your PRO/apply in person at MOI office or MOI Service centre. You have to pay QR 200 per person first time. This visa is extendable upto max 6 months with monthly QR 200.
