Saggi,

I think you are refering some one else. i was at Gharafa underpass and secondly I don;t need to lie or check my speedometer.

every ticket

for a speed violation lists the speed you were going. So if the road is posted as 80Km and you got flashed while going 70, the traffic police will throw out the ticket. Only if you are over the limit will you be given a citation and a fine.

Sorry Dear , but I was just behind you and you were doing way above 95 ... Better check out the speedometer , maybe it is faulty.. I know for sure since I was doing 75 and you crossed me when it flashed -- The time was around 9.45 pm If I am not wrong......and the location was approximately after the midmac flyover -- somwhere under the mamoora complex area.. am I right ?

Midmac is for sure 80Km road. though the speed limit of D ring road is 100 but underpass limit is 80KM. I take this road daily.

I got the flash on the underpass which is on the road going towards land mark, before the trafic polic markhia under pass.

I think this is some sort of testing. because I saw one flash on the other side of the road as well, though the cars were driving with in the limit. the limit of that road was 80.

@ lamea,

Could you be more specific as to which underpass this is? Because it also flashed for us wen we were going at 65 Kms...But this was at Midmac Underpass...And the speed limit there is 80 Kms....

Could someone shed light on this matter? Is the speed camera in Midmac Underpass in testing mode? What is the speed limit in this underpass..Is it 80 Kms?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dear wht's the point of discussion here, just browse the MOI web site and check your violation, thats it.

I did not break the law. the speed limit was 80 KM. thats why i was wondering why it flashed at 70 KM. May be it is under testing.

Why should the MOI tell anyone where the speed cameras are? They use mobile radars on several different stretches of road to catch speeders. If you drive the speed limit, you have no worries. If you only drive the speed limit where there is a camera - and speed where you think there are no cameras - you get what you deserve.

I saw a guy this morning stop at the red light at the roundabout look to see if there was oncoming traffic, looked at the two lanes to his right where myself and other vehicles had stopped and then drove right through.

No camera, I'll go if I think I can get away with it.

No Khattak, i pass it on daily basis

.

It only flashes above 80km/h.

.

BTW, haven't u noticed that there is still no sign saying RADAR INSTALLED ON THIS ROAD as they usually have hoisted in numerous places where radar exists. So this means that MOI has been lying to the public and denying that there are no HIDDEN CAMS.

.

I have seen many poor guys who pass through that underpass with speed of 100 or 120 km/h and they are caught by surprise with that flash
