Well, we too have a eight months old boy and usually with the breast feeding and routine baby food we serve him with banana, fruit custard and fully cooked chicken drumstick to play (licking) with. He is doing well.

At 8 months, your baby's ideal body weight will approximately be 7 kg. 0.2 kg difference is not much of a concern. Continue breastfeeding and infant foods on a small frequent feeding intervals.

Some babies are just a smaller weight than others. If your baby is healthy and happy, and by being breastfed and having food 3 times a day, I suspect he/she is, then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Your pediatrician is the best option for suggestions.

Remember: "what is good for some kids maybe harmful to others"

Please seek for professional guidance; once again contact your pediatrician.

Regards!!

PS: similar posts by you in the past and in the end you got the same advice: consult the pediatrician!!!!

ask your pediatrician

Health questions, especially relating to infants, are best asked to experts, not jokesters on a website. Good luck
