My friend does have Hyundai Santa Fe, and it's good for both city road and offroad. It can even be driven for dune bashing. Spacious and good value. Resale is a concern.
Honda n Toyota enjoy good resale value. However, CRV seems overpriced. RAV4 is less spacious than Santa Fe and not quite good for offroad.

Santa Fe.....is Hyundai's best vehicle....
It is a very good 4WDrive vehicle.
It even has rear A/C vents which most entry level SUVs dont have.
The only reason I rate CRV over Santa Fe as the best entry level SUV is ONLY because of Honda's 1st Class Service.
Otherwise Santa Fe is really the BEST entry level SUV! Infact interior of the full option Santa Fe would give any SUV a complex!!!
only buy hyundai if you plan to stay in Qatar for long term.
I don't own those three.
