Sorry guys im asking a lot of questions about cars. But if you had a choice between a 2003-2004 Porsche Cayenne OR a 2007 VW Toureg. Which do you think is better? I personally know an owner that owned both vehicles and he claims that the VW is way better. SO what do you guys think?
The difference between a Porsche and a VW engine is the choice of materials (compounds) for the important engine parts. Porsche exclusively uses Mahle 138 for the pistons. This material has better heat-expansion characteristic than any other compound. And that is why a Porsche is more desirable (and more expensive). The looks and things are just snick-snack to satisfy underdeveloped egos of older playboys.
I agree but man for some reason when i see the NEWER cayenne body style... it makes the old one look UGLY lol. It just the headlights... but im weird. But thanks for the posts :D

hi! I think even VW uses Mahle. because when i restore my VW beetle in the Philippines i used Mahle pistons and liners.
Sure the Touareg is way better than porsche... 2003-2004 porsche is an old crap out of warranty and i guess will be costly to repair and service...
cheers

Toureg for sure mate I own one and it rocks
The Cayenne and the Touareg are both made in the Same factory and share a lot of common parts. But as Britexpat says, Porsche always.
Porsche always. However, if its a six cylinder Porsche , then the performance is not that great, but it still has more presence than a toe-rag!
Old is no more Gold in case of CARS...
2007 Toureg Rocks
