*** SHOWTIME RIP OFF ****
Hi,
I've just been ripped off for QR1,000 by SHOWTIME.
My wife and I subscribe to Showtime for more than 3 years but we are cancelling subscription next month because we're leaving. When we signed the contract, Showtime took a QR1,000 deposit for the cost of the Showbox, promising to return the QR1,000 when we ended the contract.
Now Showtime is refusing to return the deposit, claiming this was a special offer only available in the first 1 year of subscription. Showtime did not tell this to us, our contract does not say this and Showtime have refused to provide any contract which does say this.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what do you think I can do about Showtime's incorrect and arrogant customer service?
Well I shall certainly avoid Showtime!!

Better review the contract/application that you (as customer/subscriber) and Showtime (service provider) signed upon installation of this. This will somehow refresh you from your rights as a customer. Good luck.
