Why human's require Cow's milk?

Humans are the only living creatures consuming other beings milk. All other creatures stop their milk consumption at a young age & that too only from their mother.Aren't we designed for the same?

I think she must be jain, Happy.

They don't eat eat root vegetables such as potatoes, onions, roots and tubers, because tiny life forms are injured when the plant is pulled up and because the bulb is seen as a living being, as it is able to sprout (from Wiki)...OMG such a strict diet!!!

Yes we are designed for the same, but bovine milk has so many nutritional benefits that it is part of our culture's dietary habits. Just one of the many benefits from the domestication of our friend the cow.
