complicated situation ( help needed)

Hi all, let me explain my very complicated situation ( in my opinion at least)
I came to Doha with my wife and my daughter on a family visit visa on the 3 of July 2009 and they gave us till the 15th of Dec 2009( no extension allowed after that).
In this time I managed to get a job, and the company applied for a work visa for me ( only today it was approved!)
Now my questions are:
1-How long do u think it will take before I can get PR?
2-Can my wife and daughter stay in Doha till I get PR and then I'll add them to my PR? if yes is there any penalty I have to pay? if no that's mean they should leave! are they allowed to come back immediately? or they must stay outside Doha for 3 months?

Thanx in advance for your help

Hi,

If the company had issued your work visa today,in 10 days you can have yor RP, this is if they treat your case as urgent and they did not cause any delay.

If you got your RP within 10 days, directly they company should arrange for you the documents to sponsor your wife and children and apply to Labour Ministry, if the labour Ministry approve it then they will be able to issue their visas and they do not have to leave the country, just keep in mind that in November there is Eid holiday and in Decemper there is alot of days off. So the quicker the PRO (mandoup) in your company the better for all of you.

In case the visas where not issued on time and the visas of your wife and children expired, they can leave and then come back under your sponsorship, no need to saty out 3 month. but also the company should provide you with th documents to apply or normally they should apply for it.

Regards,

The RP can take as little as one week or as long as you want. It depends on the connections your employer has and your employers diligence in pushing for the RP. It will also depend on you having all the required documents.

I don't know about the rest of your questions.

Can't they just leave for the day and come back with a new visa?

No, i dont think that will be possible for now, because you need to at least have 6 mos duration of your stay in Doha before you can finally extend their visa under your sponsorship. But now they have to leave the country.
