Advice for car maintenance
Hello Everyone,
I bought a 2007 Nissan X-Trail 6 months back. The car was bought originaly in October 2006 so this october it expired its warranty of 3 year. There is an extended warranty however for another 2 year but that does not cover most of parts/mechanics anyways. The car has 35000 KM on it now (bought at 30K KM however). I have following things for your feedback:
1. If the extended warranty transfers automatically to buyer of the car?
2. If I should continue maintaining car from Nissan or look for alternates?
3. Any recommended alternates than Nissan. Teyseer, Woqod just do oil service but not regular maintenance work that Nissan recommends for its cars.
Thanks in advance,
1- Yes, the extended warranty transfere automatically to the new owner
2- Woqood is really good .. they will check a lot of things .. not only the oil and filter .. "Read their free list"
3- few things are not checked by woqood .. so wut u can do is:
every 10,000 km go to woqood for changing oil and other checkup.
Every 20,000 km go to nissan for other check-up
Most of all .. the warranty is having policy .. usually it's maintaining your car every 10,000 in Nissan .. otherwise u will lose the warranty ..
Make sure that the previous owner was always maintaining with Nissan and the warranty is still available ..
Make sure of their terms and conditions for the warranty extension .. if it needs Nissan check-up .. then u don't have any other solution but to go to Nissan .. to keep the warranty ..
Usually, there is nothing going to be repaired on warranty ..
they will always make an excuse that it's the way u used the car ..
so better if u fed up from Nissan .. just go to woqood .. and forget about the warranty .. cuz in the end u will still pay for the repair .. believe me ..
Moving it to the top again
