delivery during visit visa

My wife is 2 months pregnant & i want to bring her here. please reply

1.is baby delivery is possible in qatar if my wife is on visit visa.
2. What will be the expenses.
3. Also after how much time of my joining in DOha, i can convert my wife's visit visa status into family visa status.

Please help for above querries.

In my case,I came here and my daughter with a tourist visa.Then my husband apply for a family visa for us, and it only takes less than 2months. Since I was 4months pregnant, I also apply for a healthcard for only 100QR. Once your wife have it, she can have her prenatal check-up to the nearest Health Center for free. Also, she can deliver baby in normal or CS delivery in Women's Hospital for free.

If u can get the family visa within 6 months,then its ok.I think for family status,u need atleast 6 months bank transfer & salary of around 7000 QR.Its better that you try for family visa than visit visa.Since ur wife is 2 mnths pregnant,& if u r bringing her here,she has to deliver here& in visit visa,delivery expenses will be very high.Also there is a risk of travelling back if the visa is not ready by that time.So think twice before u decide.
