Need to Borrow Metal Detector

Does anyone know where I could borrow a metal detector from for about 1/2 hour only.

I would be quite happy to pay and the owner could actually do the 'detecting' himself so the machine would be in no danger of damage.

I have a necklace which has fallen into a sofa and I need to be sure where before we rip it open.

iMetal or iDetectMetal, there's also another softwares but I have the abobe on my iphone.

try using the metal detector software in iphone 3GS (I believe it's easier than finding a real metal detector)
