GPS Car/fleet tracker
I am in the need for a Car/fleet GPS tracker for installation in a Toyota Land cruiser.
The minimum requirements are:
1) Build-in battery for memory (low power consumption)
2) Fits a Toyota Land cruiser
3) Remote car battery/engine cut off
4) Support single location and continual tracking
5) Real-time tracking of vehicle via map on PC/mobile phone
6) Multi-country tracking
7) Anti-theft alarm, support alarm for someone tremble with the car when parked
I have found a suitable model called "AVL GPS Tracker for Car /Truck(TZ-AVL05)" but is open to suggestions.
Does somebody know where to have something like the above installed in Doha/Qatar?

Unfortunately it seems to be limited to US only.
For it to work in Qatar is not a "must have" requirement. However, multi-country coverage of Europe is.

oh yea...1 more thing...there was a mothly charge for the ublip thing..as we have to create an account in their site,,,from which we moniter the product in the maps...
i've ordered a ublip (vehicle tracker) from the states and it din't work... me and the top IT guru from ublip wer online with no sleep to bypass the port needed for it to communicate with their server.....qtel just blocked them all...week later...just lost interest....
no success ...i just gaveup... that was abt 2 yrs ago......
now i here there are some companies who does dis but only on commecrial platforms.... not for individuals....

It does not necessarily have to work in Qatar, only to be installed in a car in Qatar.
But shouldn't it work in Qatar?
