before you reinstall Operating System, you should uninstall the existing OS then after then thats the time you can do OS reinstallation.
but IF you know how to do system restore the do so.

i use Windows xp..But i know not more than word excel..so i cant do it..:(

You should install it on your hard drive, preferable on the C:\ drive.
