Name correction in RP (Indian passport)-URGENT
I have typical problem:
In my RP I have got my father's name first followed by my surname in the middle and my name at last. This mistake is because in my old passport my name is written with hand (not typed) so due to space constrain they have written my Surname and Name in space given for Surname and my father's name at space given for Given Name. They have put ‘-‘ mark in between to show that it is continued name.
Now I have got my new passport whereas they have mentioned my name correctly.
When I reported this problem two years back to my company's PRO, he refused and told me that now it is not possible to change all the records and I will not face any problem.
But now after the birth of my daughter at Qatar.....I have received the birth certificate with the same wrongly typed RP name.
What should I do to rectify my name in RP and all other records?

try to do the correction now..!
You must have immidiately corrected it, anyways you can do it again - means update with proper support papers (i.e. new passport)...it'll be a big process for sure but you have to have, no other option.
If you keep it under the carpet, it'll only give many trouble in future.
