heyy guys i need your help.i wish to remove ubuntu linux from my laptop without formatting.the windows is on the same partition wer linux is.now i wish to remove linux

guys i onlyy hav two partition on is wer windows vista is installed.and other 1 is the hp recovery partition.the ubuntu is on c i guess.because nothing is shown in there.except my space in c has been consumed even for ubuntu.now i only wish to remove ubuntu
If you do what bleu said, you can delete the 'Non-DOS' partition with FDisk. Then you can make it a DOS partition. But your hard disk will still have this extra partition. And if you make a mistake, you might lose more than you want. You can also use more sophisticated software like 'Partition Magic'. But, if you don't know what you're doing you might end up in a disaster.

shaz.2003...linux creates its own partition...
They both cannot exist on the same partition....maybe on same Harddisk but on different partition.
Take a backup before you do anything to your disk....you might loose all your data through a minor mistake.

Dudes as I wrote above they both seemed to be on same patition c and now u wish to remove ubuntu just like how we do for softwares without any changes
remove the partition with fdisk.
Linux has its own partition(s). Windows cannot use it. You lose hard disk space. I would format the drive and make a fresh install of Windows.
