Doha College Present: HONK! The Musical
We are delighted to invite you to our backwater tale of folk down on the farm. HONK! is an adaption of the Hans Christian Andersen tale of The Ugly Duckling and deals with issues of being the odd one out and how strong a bond is between mother and child. We see Ugly being teased by his father, brother and sisters and his mothers tireless efforts, searching every pond, every stream and every river to find him after he runs away from home. Not only this, but, matters are complicated by The Cats constant pursuit of him. This truly is a heartwarming story that will not leave a dry eye in the house.
A vast amount of students went through a difficult audition process and a successful cast of 39 have been rehearsing tirelessly for four months. All involved has been incredibly dedicated and have given up evenings and weekends to ensure that we do this wonderful production the justice it deserves.
Tickets are available from Doha College Accounts Office. The show dates are the 25, 26, 27, 28th of January and the tickets are 50QR for adults and 30 QR for students/children. Show starts at 7Pm at Doha College!
