I am willing to travel Dubai by road with my wife and two kids. Just wanna clear few points. Though, I have searched few threads but didn't find any thing similar to it. Below are my questions:

1) Do I require to take Visa for Wife and Kids (Two year & 4 yrs Old)? They are on my sponsorship and have valid Qatar RP

2)Do i need to take Visa for my Wife and kids from Saudi embassy too to cross the border?

3) My car is on company's name what documents I have to submit to travel dubai by road.

4) On my RP designation is Secretary, I will be getting Dubai Visa from my bro who is already in Dubai and my wife can get a Dubai Visa as her father is in Dubai in this case my kids require Visa to enter dubai?

Would appreciate your earliest answers.... Thanks

Certainly you, your wife & your kid need the saudi transit visa as well as the UAE visa. If you are eligible for on arrival visa, you will get it at the Abuhabi border (UAE). But Saudi transit visa u will not get at the border. U have to apply at the Saudi embassy here and get it in advance. At abudhabi border at the final gate there are a many shops selling the vehicle insurance which you have to buy for your vehicle (100Dirhams). For us it took 9hrs from Qatar to Dubai. We left at 8.00pm in the evening and reached Dubai at 5.00am. But never travel in the night coz there are no street lights from Saudi border untill Abudhabi border. (It was a mistake we did). there was nothing harm we reached safely by the grace of God. but when the vehicles come in the opposite direction with full lights on its really difficult to drive. (I pity my husband who drove for 9 hrs nonstop and sleepless) We were lucky we didnt have too much waiting and checking at all the 4 borders and we passed every border in 10 minutes. Just they asked was passport id card and vehicle registration card. We had driven our own car.

You can drive your own vehicle only, if it is company car you need no objection letter from your sponsor to use their car for this purpose.
