Opening An account for my child

well i am trying to open an account for my child and tried all the banks in doha and still got the same reply , you cant open the account without the sponsour of the father and he has full access to the account. WHY? its my money that i want invest for my daughter why i havent got the right to do that . :( , i do trust that my husband would never take the money , but its something that i want to do for my child . Does anyone know a bank that does give the right for the mother to be the sponsour .

Thats the rule of the country....a female cannot sponsor anybody....maybe there is an exception....maybe!
