Unjust Job Firing

I would just like to know if my friend could still come back here to Qatar and work as she was unjustly fired and sent home. She was accused of doing something that she did not do and her co employees can prove it. She was fired yet she paid for her own ticket home which was deducted from her salary. She was also not given the usual 30 day notice before being sent home. She was only given 2 days to pack her bags and leave. She was not paid for two months on a salary of QR 3000/ month with allowances and yet she was only given QR 350 as final compensation. She was not given her NOC. She also suffered emotional damage at work as her former employers made derogatory remarks about her work perfomance and her appearance which is not true as she puts all her effort into her work and she is a former beauty titlist also.

Kindly advice on what we can do to have her come back here. thanks.

Its too late now....she could've appealed against her employer in the Labor Court & National Human Rights Commission before leaving the country.

All Kabayans should stop accepting job less than a salary of office boy this cause all the administration job standard in private companies, and have no value for experiance and sincerity. Stop doing anything to get a job or to survive in job.

Now she can't do anything.. If she is here, she can fight and file complaint against the employer for not paying the salary and notice period salary.

Dear, you need to enquire if she's been black-listed or has the employer imposed a ban on her entry ... thats something you can find out from the Ministry of Labour or Immigration dept....if not She can still comeback, live and work in Qatar without much hassels. Whats done is done now think of what are the possibilities to get her back.

Cheers

Difficult for her. Yes, I agreed with SandMan.

If you really want to help her, Marry her, and she can immediately come with husband sponsor, and apply for the new job.

we had no choice but to accept it but we were ready to fight before. we have even contacted the POLO office last november when she was first told that the employer was to slash her salary. she has resigned previously but since the employer cannot find a replacement they asked her to stay a while then this is what happened. her family and i were just happy that her distress ended already and she was to be sent home. the problem now is getting her back here.

She could have easily gone to the Labour court and won the case in her favour and asked for release NOC which she could have got easily from the sponsor.

Now that she has already exited ...the ban of 2 yrs applies.

Maybe if she come back after 2yrs ....she could sue the old company ....maybe.

Seems nothing Kabayan since she accepted it....if she thought she is correct she should have fought while she is still here....

She has to wait for two years to comeback to Doha if his sponsor will not give her NOC.....

Maybe God has some reasons for this....God bless her...
