Pregnancy & PCO (Poly cystic ovaries)

I am having PCO for the last 2 years. I have also suffered a mis-carriage during the last year. My doctor has prescribed Glycomet (Metformin) 850 mg (twice daily) for PCO. I am regularly taking the medicine and now I am pregnant again.
Can anybody advise me:
1. A good Gynaecologist in Doha who has experience in treating pregnancies with PCO.
2. Can any sister share her similar experience and advise whether Glycomet (Metformin) should be continued during pregnancy.

My sister was having the same prob. After treatment she is having a beautiful baby boy. Don't worry get advise form Doctor before continuing or discontinuing the tablet. Al Ahli is best for regular check up. God blessing be with you all the way. Take care.

i had the same problem ...i was advised to stop metformin as i was pregnant .....u can go an see dr sujata at al ahli ...she is really good ...mine was a very complicated case which she handled very well ....all the best and eat well and be stress free
better go to al ahli hospital.. they have trained and well experienced ob-gyne doctors to help you and take care of you while you are pregnant. best of luck!
