Ask you new company to arrange a BUSINESS Visa and can extend as much you want every 3 months need to go out from country and can comeback same day or next day. For business visa not required NOC from previous employer.

while u have still visa Better comeback immediately to settle things with your sponsor, like claiming your gratuity if they terminate u or asking NOC.U should not be terminated while on vacaton by qatar labor law.

If you are stay outside of qatar for more than 6 months you need visa to come back. But if not you can comeback anytime because you still have valid visa. However if you are more than 6 months outside qatar you can ask the company that is hiring you to issue new visa for you.

As far as the information I received from Immigration Officer at the Doha Int Airport; Someone has to completed 2 years from the exit date before allowing to come back and work in Qatar. Eventhough you didnt cancel your RP before, your RP will be automatically cancelled through the system once you out of Qatar max. 6 months.

In your case, if you would like to come back here, you should able to obtain NOC from your previous sponsor. Otherwise, it's gonna be impossible for your new employer to arrange for your working visa.

NOC is a must. you cannot join any other company/sponsor here without that. so if you can talk to your previous employer/sponsor to issue an NOC for you.

Why you are going with the demands of your existing Sponsor who wants to kick you out and is not ready to give you NOC. He is very clever. First of all he cannot cancel your visa or terminate your services when you are on holidays. You should come back to Qatar for him to terminate you and in that case he should cancel your visa and should pay the end of service benefits and ticket. If you stay more than six months outside Qatar he can get another visa and bring someone at a lower salary and can save the money of your airfare and end of service benefits. If he is terminating your services only due to the recession then he will be obliged to give you NOC or release. If he is having problem of recession why he is afraid of loosing his visa? I think you should negotiate with your existing Sponsor. If you are not interested to get your end of services talk to your sponsor and tell him that you will not ask for the end of service benefits if he is ready to give you the NOC.
