What else should i do to get Qtel Landline & ADSL Connection???

I have applied for a new landline with internet connection sice 11th of january 2010 and am following up regularly on the help line but have not got any appointment yet, is it normal for Qtel to take so much time? When ever i call the help line they say every thing is Ok and you will receive an appointment in a day or two but nothing happens..can any one suggest what should i do ?

same story I had huge issues getting my qtel sorted and up and running
I had installation but nothing was working...
I kept on going to the qtel shop I applied and spoke to the same lady... after several days and visits (at least 7-8) she was able to pull some strings and spoke to some higher person who finally helped and sent the technician to fix my problem.
Anyway service NO GOOD and 1000000 excuses and no acction
Thanks for the advise guys, your answers make me feel that its not the worst as some one just said that he had to wait for three months ....... but this is really frustrating i am disappointed from QTEL....
Qtel is Qtel. Do not expect anything better than this. I have experienced the same problem. After waiting a long time (Make lot of call to 111), I visited one of the Qtel Centers. You know what the guy in customer service did? He wrote in a small paper '111' and told me to contact in this number. Nothing he can do about it! Fortunately the next week they inform me about the appointment. Please wait for your day!

Dear, i have gone through the same problem. But what i did was that i visited QTEL office in Alsaad atleast every two days and got it just yesterday after waiting of 1 month even after so many visits ....and still the worst thing is that i applied for 2 mb adsl and what i got was 1 mbps only :( they have upgraded or shifted there system so they are facing problems...try your luck and visit the branch....
If you keep banging your head against the wall and phoning them everyday , eventually after 3 months they will come. That's what we did for the last 3 months and tada! they finally came and installed. It is incredibly frustrating, so i understand your concern...
Go to a Qtel office, insist on talking to a Manager.
They will avoid connecting you with a Manager & will resolve it on thier own.
My friend did this recently & they installed the line the next day.
just keep on calling everyday and do follow up everytime, like what i did before....

Go to qtel web site and u could make a complaint, but nothing will happen, just wait and it will get done, i have applied 7 jan and nothing has happen so far,
