qadama visa

hi everyone! we're expecting to have our 1st baby by september so we are planning to get 1 housemaid from the philippines.

i heard u can't sponsor a maid of the same nationality (is this true?)..but i have an indian friend who is also planning to get an indian maid..so maybe i can sponsor her maid and she can sponsor mine..

* what would be the requirements for qadama visa application?
* any salary bracket?
* (maybe my fellow pinoys can answer this): if ever the visa gets approved, what would be the procedure in our country..she has to go to POEA etc? or would it be easier to apply for a visit visa for her then later apply for the qadama visa once she's already here?

thanks!

Hi,

We both in the same condition. But the mandoop from my husband company said that it is not allowed to have THE SAME NATIONALITY qadama visa. As my other philipina colleague application for philipina qadama visa had already been rejected last week.

My husband Pakistani and I am Indonesian, thought to get from my country as well since my husband will be the sponsor but his company mandoop said it is not possible.

About the salary bracket, it is still mystery for us, but we just try our luck since our 3rd baby will be due this July and we both working. Cross our finger.

Good luck to you too, oh btw, Indian housemaid had already banned by their government.
