The lighting, sound,security, stage and above all Sonu Nigam was superb.Indians in India are fortunate that they are able to watch shows with high-tech projectors, lighting, sound, while we in Qatar have had to make do with the cheap arrangements, which appear to be catering to the lowest of the low.
I have watched the Sunidhi Chauhan show and the last Sonu Nigam show at the City Centre in 2005. Sunidhi Chauhan was brilliant but the stage setup was cheap and the banner with the logos of the sponsors was bad.
The Sonu Nigam show at City Centre was a disaster, because of poor arrangements- seating, sound - people seated at the back could not hear a thing.
Well done to the organisors. If the Sonu Nigam concert is an indication of things to come later this year- my fellow Indians we have a wonderful treat ahead of us.
