I've been living in Qatar for 2 months now and find it and it's people truly amaizing! Unfortunately there are some individuals who just do not understand the meaning of manners! Especially non-qataries! People, we all live here and want to make the best of any given situation! PLS MIND YOUR MANNERS to woman in Qatar!

Sorry you had bad experiences, matilda. Some people generally have no manners. But that's not the norm though. Just have to be tough / thick-skinned about it and not be bothered.

That's odd cos that normally doesn't happen here. At least not in public places. Where did this occur?

Azi I feel you are being a bit harsh in him. He just made eye contact he did not rape them!
at women here in Qatar (and other Arab country)much less try to make eye contact with them...
Your sad experience regarding that Qatari mother and daughter is of your own fault. You tried to make eye contact with the lady which is a NO - NO...

I am rude to everyone irrespective of their gender and I am proud of it.
If you just want comments like, "yes they are very rude and they should learn how to behave with women and we are sorry to hear about your plight" then you should have mentioned it in the opening post.

Leave the sarcasim, join the real world. O, to answer your question, being pushed out of the way, not once(buy the way), a few times!!!! being shouted at, cursed etc..... This is not something i would have posted if it only happened once! I am to mature to steep to such a level.

Its a great shock for a house wife living here only since 2 months fustrated about mannerism, Can you share experience what made you to feel sick.
