Job offer - suggestions
Hi everyone!
My husband has got an offer from a Qatar based company. His salary structure is as follows:
Basic Salary of QAR 9,000.00 plus Conveyance Allowance and Telephone Allowance
Project Allowance of QRs. 4,000.00
Company accommodation of Two (2) Bedroom Apartment or House Rent Allowance (HRA) of QRs. 4,500.00
Is it a good offer? Please let me know ASAP!
THE OFFER IS ACTUALLY MORE THAN FAIR. JUST CHECK THE OTHER FREEBIES LIKE DO YOU GET TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE OR FREE TICKETS FOR VACATION LEAVES.ETC DOES HE WORK 5 DAYS A WEKK OR 6 DAYS A WEEK?

hi!what is the position of your husband in the company and what's the name of the compnay?
i guess, you better grab it coz it's higher than my husband is getting from his company as assistant facilities management..that offer depends on what the position of your husband.
QR4,500 will not get you much in accommodation - definitely not a house (or Villa as they call them over here) - you would get a very basic apartment in a not so nice area. I have friends whose company pay QR6000 and their apartment is new but in a dreadful area - no parks, gardens, nowhere to walk - just dirty, dusty potholed road in an area where women shouldn't walk alone. Depends on what you are used to I suppose.
