Husband Sponsorship-Urgent reply

Hi Guys,

Good day.

I'm under my husband's sponsorship til today but his contract will be ending this April 30. Good thing he's been hired with another company. Sadly, the company will not give release but only NOC so that means we need to go back to our country (cancelled). Plan is,he will come after a week or two after exiting then coming back with a visit visa with the new company. My question is, how fast can my husband gets his New RP and sponsor me and my daughter. Some told us that we need to present again 6 months bank statements. (All our accounts are expected to be closed before exiting). Problem is i have a new offer already but they can't wait that long till i can come back.

Your thoughts on this please.

I've both agreed with Rasakaka and Omair. We met the same problem last year. Another company had offered my husband but his present employer will not allow a direct transfer but to cancel our visa then they will give NOC to work in this new company which was known to us very late.Same reason given, they will lose one visa.

So we lost it. The new company couldn't wait. We are facing the same problem again but this time, we are atleast aware that they will cancel us so that gives us time to prepare.

Is it really necessary to cancel us first? I have issued some cheques for our flat, can we keep it since my husband will be back in 2 weeks time and continue depositing the money in my behalf. Would it work like this?

I'm sorry guys. This company is giving us really big trouble.

thanks again,

Rasakaka is correct.

He got NOC to join another company on its own new visa but the current company will cancell his RP and the employee has to leave qatar and he will be exempted from 2 years ban due to that NOC.

This is to be confirmed that paying 500Qrs one may not require to leave country.

NOC means no objection to join another company on its own visa. and 2 years ban will be lifted due to NOC.

Change of sponsorship means the the releaser will have the visa and the company will loose one visa and the 2nd company will gain one visa.

wishing best of luck.

you nut.... NOC and release are the same.... No need to exit the country... Lucky to get NOC... All the best in your new company... Do not forget to donate some money in charity as to acquire NOC is a big celebration...

Confused?

The Sponsor of isangkuzang's husband is not willing to give the release so he can move immediately to the new Sponsor. The sponsor is planning to cancel the RP of isang' husband so the family should first cancel and leave the country before him. The Sponsor will give isang's husband the NOC with which he can come again and work for another Sponsor immediately.

I think they must have the statement to apply for a family visa. If the RP is cancelled then he will not be able to keep the same account number.

As I understand even your husband also no need to go out of QATAR. Once your husbands Visa changed to new company..then automaticaly your visa could be changed..no worries..better consult to your husbands new employer..

thanks guys for the ideas.

Sadly their company will not allow a direct transfer but to cancel my husband's visa instead and that means we are all cancelled.

Ishu369, you mentioned we can use the same bank account for my husband, but i thought we are not allowed to keep any account here especially if we are not anymore a resident.

How about my bank account? Do i need to close it or we can continue? I heard we need to show a bank clearance or else they will hold us.

Thanks

No worries, in fact your husband can request the new company to arrange visa for the entire family at the same time (you & daughter) so your 90% problems will be sorted. (my boss did the same way)

rasakaka, NO need to exit country. Today you pay 500 QAR and transfer your sponsorship without exiting Qatar.

NOC and release are the same hell. NOC means that your previous sponsor doesn't mind you to work for another compay. It has nothing to do with exits/entries.

When people say NOC - there r two things.

1.)your husband's company give him transfer of sponsorship to another company. this is called "nakkal kafala" in Arabic for which there is a transfer form( this should have both the companies names and details mentioned and to be endorsed at the immigration) and a no objection letter from the sponsor.

2.)your husband's sponsor agrees to give him an NOC - which lets him to go outside qatar and come back before the 2 years ban is over.

for case 1 - the family can stay here and husband's company transfer will not affect them.

for case 2 - the family has to be cancelled first before the company can cancel your husband's visa and everyone has to leave the country.

once he come back upon receieving his RP he can sponsor the family again. your husband can retain the same account number so that you can provide the 6 months statement too. if his company want, they can process the RP in less than 10 days.

Wrong answers.... guys NOC mean, once one RP is cancelled that person must be out of Qatar min 2years, if the person got NOC from the previous sponser, he can enter again to qatar without completing 2 years. thats all...

NOC itself will enable your husband to change his sponsorship without departing from Qatar. This will save the time. If he leaves the country then his family visa status is cancelled. Again, he will have to take approval from the Labour department then visa will be issued. Transferring through NOC is hassle- free.

If he is getting NOC no need to go out he can change from here itself. (release or NOC almost same meaning)
