Does anyone know if the Taco Bell is still open here and where its at? I've been told there was one here but I've never seen it, and that it might've closed.
Aw thats too bad, I guess I'll have to start bringing some taco bell seasoning packets from the US then. Anyone know of a place that sells decent soft tortilla's? Thanks
...and at that point, the expat community was not what it is today, so they weren't that popular.
They were constantly running out of stuff too -- so for those of us who would occasionally go there, you'd find five things on the menu unavailable...so you stopped going.
It would be great if they would bring it back, I agree. There is a population to support it now. But as with all the other companies here, they need to stay on top of ordering their supplies better. In a country that has to import everything, you'd think they would have gotten this facet down...

was at the Ramada junction. It closed back in 2003. It was horrible and bore little resemblance to true taco bell food. The one in Dubai is actually pretty good.

I've bought from Megamart (lots of different varieties)- they are back by the butter. Bateel also has decent tortillas, although on the small side.
