Is there a new rule regarding the transfer of sponsorship for female?
My friend's visa is to be transferred from her previous company to the new one, her previous company provided every document including the release letter she needs for the transfer. They signed the transfer of sponsorship form given by her new company. Everything seems to be going smoothly until one day, she followed up the status of the application to their HR and she's told that her paper is in the labor court because there's a new rule for female visa to be transferred.
I have no idea regarding this matter, anyone's answer will be much appreciated. Thanks

if theres any truth to this, I would just leave Qatar then and look for another job elsewhere.
Until now, she's stucked with the thoughts and worrying about what will happen to the application. She tried to ask their madoob again and was told the same thing. Eventhough she has a release letter, she's told that still the new company has to provide a slot for a female visa for her that's why her paper is in the labor court for approval. When she asked her old company regarding this matter, they told her a different thing. They told her that it's not necessary for her new company to provide a slot since her female visa with the old company will be given to them.
I dont know as well the new rule if by chance there is. I hope that someone can help us clarify this one.

I am not sure about sponsorship transfer for female. However my case(sponsorship transfer from private to semi govt) is also kept hold due to block from labour department. I am not getting a clear answer for the problem, somebody says project visas(2 year duration) is not transferable and an official in labour department told what they are not passing sponsorship transfer nowadays. If anybody have similar experience please share.
