You need to incorperate exercise and a health diet. Just diet or just exercise will not do what you are probably expecting. The most important thing for getting in shape is lifestyle change. I advise my clients always to concentrate on lifestyle change the most. As a fitness trainer we can only be with the client for the session. Its up to you to make the right choices the rest of the day.
Stay away from Oils, olive oil is good but still be carefull with the amount. From sugar, sugar is a killer and useless calories.

Many things are involved in staying in shape.
Try skipping rope at home. For tummy u can try doing crunches.
If that is tough for you then bend down and try to touch ur toe 50 times.
Have lots of carrot, cucumber, skimmed youghurt for dinner.
Try eating protein diet, fish and chicken for lunch.
Whole grain high fiber cereal for breakfast.
