BRITISH NAT. RUNAWAY HIS HOTEL BILL?
By splitdiamond •
Hello, I just want to ask if anyone can give us an idea on how to trace this british guy. He stayed in one of the hotel here in Doha since he worked for a company, then without the knowledge he ran away and moved to Bahrain working their without informing the hotel and his luggage was still their. The hotel tried to contact him and he promised that he will pay but until now no more news about him. Now the hotel management decided to charged to the staff and to tell you the salary of the hotel staff is not enough. I hope someone can help us to at least give some information on how to trace this person..Thank you..
This hotel kinda low end type, i was also a hotelier the moment they check in and stay for long definitely it will be pre-authorize or block the money. But the staff mentioned that their card machine will only accept purchase.HUH! And you know what the front office manager tried to washed his hands but to the point that it his responsibility to guide and monitor his staffs and guests..so shame on this manager because he don't want to pay or share also for the payment only for the 2 staffs.
It's true, i think the best to do is to pray and God for sure will give the way to solve..Thank you so much
That's why hotels block your credit card.
Is it an illegal place?Or legal place involved in illegal activity?
It's should be the hotel must take action but maybe they dont want to got into intrigue they just decided to charged to the poor staff with the salary of 2K QR and the guest balance is almost 8k QR..
Split I think the problem is deeper than just footing the bill.
It think you are right xena that they have to inform the police or maybe trace from UK embassy, however they just made simple for them, that to charge to the staff..and of course the staff doesn't have power to object. Actually, i was wondering if the UK embassy here can possibly contact UK embassy in Bahrain to trace this British national, this man is I believe working in a big company their. Do you think it's possible?Thank you so much for your reply really I appreciate it a lot..
Yes, the hotel should make a police complaint. There is no other way of dealing it.
that should be how they handle it...
Hotels have insurance for Bilkers don't they?
