Tourist Visa Expires During..
..Application of Work Visa
Hi this is my first Post here pls. bear with me I know there is a lot of Post similar to my case. As I have mentioned on the subject. My Tourist Visa Expires during the application of my WORK VISA now my question is. Now that I have my work visa (after 10 days of expiration of my tourist visa.) do I have to pay the penalty? if the application is submitted 4 days before the expiration of my tourist visa?. If yes how much is the penalty?

@csymllr that is also my understanding. On My side i Secured all the necessary documents for the transfer. and Yeah I read somewhere here that the penalty depends on the type of visa.

Yeah, normally the company pays for such penalties...but the penalty is QR 200/day...not QR 5000 :)
It is the HR departments job and if they mess up the company has to pay (and the person who messed up will too some way or another im sure) so hopefully its the same for you. One figure I heard was 5000 qr per day, granted thats all heresay, however its large enough for me to keep on these guys pretty much everyday.

This happened to my wife (2 years back)...we didnt pay any penalty. Not sure if the rules are changed now.
