Is this offer good to survive in Doha
Gents, I appreciate you help and valuable advices here. I got offer from oil/gas company as warehouse manager with following details: Salary US$5500 monthly + QR15000 for villa + health ansurances US$3000 annually + transportation allowances US$6500 annually + Insurance for death US$3000 annually. Please tell me if this is good to survive in Doha for 3 years contract. Thanx well friends
The main issue is that I will have to stay and live there for at least 3 years therefore I will loose all my life here and forget all in my home town. I must go there to save big money against lost life here not only to get simple job. I have good job here but I won't gain more and build up my profile.
It's a very strong offer to start off with but it depends on your current lifestyle. I agree with everyone that you'll be able to save a sizeable nest egg.
Congrats on accepting the offer.
Best of luck
A very good salary package... Congratulations for you new job!!
Thank you all,
I will go upon your advvices and accept. They said • Children’s education: US$10,000 (per child up to 4 children under 17 years of age) per annum but I have no children. I think I wil be safe when go there.
Thanx again for all
It's a very good offer, don't think twice. Accept the offer.................
It's a good offer, don't hesitate take it
If you need more advice PM me.
Grab it! You'll envy people by asking such questions.
Yep, for a Bachelor it's pretty decent. Even if your into a pretty lavish lifestyle you should be able to get some savings.
Salamoon ...if you are single its a good salary... you can also save 50% of your house rent allowance.. you can find good one/two bed apartments for 7.5k..
compare it with your current salary and benifits...and tax free is a plus!
Sense,
I have job now and I look if the offer deserves to quit my current role. I know any offer is good for jobless but I am not
My sense...why you believe every Tom, dick and harry are from India? cant you see his profile??
IT is very good offer whatever the nationality u are from. you can save excellently.
I am single, no wife, no kids, and i am Algerian.
Whatever nationalities you are (i believe INDIAN) you are lucky enough with that offer..Dont ask how will you survive...look around you..there thousand of skilled workers with less than the lowest allowance you got with that company eh...be contented.
Since accommodation and transport expenses are taken care off, it looks to be an okay deal if your a bachelor. If your married with kids, you'll probably need to negotiate for a better deal.
