Changing my Visa
I heard that there's a lot of advantages if you have an engineer visa in Qatar. Unfortunately even though I am a Btech graduate, am under an accountant visa right now. Is there any possibility to change my visa?? My current visa is valid until the mid of 2011..Pls advice...
What about Administrator designation ??
does it work to get on arrival visa for Dubai ?
Or am i eligible to get family visa with Administrator designation , (no worries for salary it is 7K + )

it is very complicated.. first, your comapny has to have a quota for Indian engineer, and if they don't have it, it is very hard to get it.. even if your company applied for the quota for you (which i doubt), visa might be rejected, even along with yourself.. so i wouldn't recomend you doing it...

This is your profession changing in your visa. So,just inform to sponsor and collect one letter or form. Then go to labour, you can change. No need PRO or others. But, they will ask your degree certificat and bank statement, both are attested. You can get all information from Labour.

Ok..my sponsor wouldn't mind accepting my request. But my concern is about the formalities and procedures..are there a lot of procedures involved in doing so?? Does it require a cancellation of my current visa?? etc..
Talk to your reporting boss, request your sponsor.. There is no way that you can change it on your own.
My company doesnt have an HR or a PRO..Its been outsourced to an agency, I dint feel like discussing with those agency members regarding this topic..
Good you have an accountant visa, I have seen engineers working under cook's visa :)
Speak to your company HR, they are the only ones who can help out.
