For several days I am trying to call the French embassy without any success. All the numbers I have (both from qtel & from website of the embassy) are either ALWAYS busy, or nobody ever answers. Does anybody have a number that works?

I knows they have info about visa application on the website, but need to be sure which documents are needed in my case, before I go there with my baby.

If anybody ever called them successfuly, please help me with the number.

Thanks!

yes, I'll probably need to go there and find out. But the embassy website says you need to book an appointment (through the website), and before that you must know what documents you should bring with you. How is that possible if they don't pick up the phone?

It's not my embassy, but I need to travel to France and stay there 1 year, and want to find out what documents are required in my case.

Thanks everyone for your advice!

Yes, that's the Middle East in general. You always need to go in person. It does make chores more time-consuming.

i agree with u NG. you should visit personally to your own embassy to ask all questions in your mind. Coz, at the immigration they will just tell u to go to their website. www.moi.gov.qa

Qatar should hire some employees who could communicate fluent english to the people. especially, goverment offices like immigration, ministy of labor etc...
