Qatar Driver's Licence
I have a Qatar Driver's licence that will expire on 2013. The case is, my resident permit was cancelled by my old company but fortunately, my new company has brought me back in Qatar under business visa. Can I use my Qatar driver's licence to drive in Qatar? or do I need to apply for an international driver's licence.
I will take your advices. I am already driving in Qatar for the last 2 years after was being cancelled by my previous company....hope i won't get any trouble driving in Qatar under Business Visa...
Till you are visa expires u can drive......still u hv valid license but think about ur visa only.
You can use it.. but be care ful.. the fines and too high in qatar. drive safe.. all the best..
Coz now I am already driving. Please share some good advice and help me not to be in trouble....thanks
GCC countries normally had 5 years validation of drivers license, but in any case you change your employer, it should be re-validated under the new sponsor. Better discuss it to your company HR, before you accelerate your car.
LOL well if you meet an accident, greet it with a smile. Hopefully you aren't hurt though.
How about if I meet an accident, what will happen to me? I mean how will i deal with the police? Are they not going to ask for my I.D?
Just Drive Safe!
Thanks guys, but remember I am on business visa....
