Dear people

I `m written from Venezuela, I received an email from International recruitment to be part of the interview in Aruba on July 28 and 29 for the position of Head Purchasing Supplies. I will apprecciate any advice from any one who did an interview with them. They told me the salary 15.000QR + benefits housing etc...interview will be those 2 days and I wonder, do they are going to give me any offer inmmediatly?
Thank

AS seandse said "I smell a rat ..."

Me too - be careful. There are a lot of recruitment scams going around. If they ask you for ANY money, pull out quickly.

Was the mail from RasGas themselves or was it from a Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo type account? I've seen things like "[email protected]" - just plain wrong!

See if you can negotiate a higher figure.

Isn't the salary too less for Head Of Purchasing? Anyways, good luck with your interview. This is a good company to join.

if the only person for the position is you and you exceed the company expectations during the interview you might get the proposal (formal offer) the same day or within a few days (a week).

Now if there are others to be interviewed for the same position then a final selection is to be held and those who reach the "short list" will be notified and then the proposal sent for review, agreement and signature to start the employment process. These steps could take longer (1 month up to 5 months) depending on the process itself.

Also bear in mind that during mid Aug to mid Sep is the celebration of the Holly month of Ramadan and that certainly will slow things pretty much.

Anyway if you need further assistance just drop me a PM. I'm also a venezuelan working here.

Regards!!
