Hello everyone,
Im new to doha, just arrived from Dubai about couple of days a ago. My husband works for a contruction company here. Doha is very much quiet then dubai to what i have realised in my few days visit. Im here to get apartment sorted, ive been googling to get some real estate agents but been not lucky enough to spot one and im quite interested in moving to alfardan gardens since it would be close to my husbands working place in barwa industrial by looking at the map. I would appreciate if you could advise me on the rent, facilities and how about to go and view the units and how do we pay rents here im sure its different to dubai..like we pay rent upfront is it the same here..? We are looking for a 2 bedrooms apartment. I would be very grateful to hear what ever advise you'll would like to give me to make my move to dubai a less hassle. It's quiet in Doha because it's July and
half the population is gone on vacation.
Several friends live in Alfardan Gardens 4. Alfardan has some of the most expensive compounds in Doha. Rightly so because they are very nice. My friends all live in 4 and 5 bedroom villas in Alfardan 4. don't know if they even have 2 bedroom apartments there, but I seriously doubt it. Rent is over 20,000QR.

I hope you'll adjust life here. Dubai, to me, is much better. Anyway, if your husband works in Barway city/commercial avenue area. You should check out Ain Khaled Gate (shown on the map). There are 2 bdrm fully furnished with fantastic amenities, 10 minutes to work, western communities.
Look under QL accomodation. You'll find plenty of rental options available. If you don't mind to pay up to 2 weeks of rental fee to agent, Zukhroft RE or Elmadi are good ones. They have good websites with listings.

I guess its a villa compound. Its very hard to find two bed villas here.
