applying for visa and birth certificate

hi

i am trying for visiting visa for my parents from India thro my husband s company. the company HR is asking for my Birth Certificate..... Is it possible to apply without the birth certificate. I dont have the original birth certificate. am having only a copy of it... and in it my name is not written...what can be done? Is it neccessary as per qatar rules... or will any alternate do...My passport has my parents name and also i have my marriage certificate with my parents details...

dont you think that your passport is having both birth date and your name and I think that is the biggest proof of your birth.do talk to the company and inform me .

My kids will be coming in march 2011 and as far as i know on there birth certificate only mentioned is boy and girl not the name as name was given later.I dont know whether I will have such problem in future.

In my opinion birth certificate with accompanied supporting certificate /document such as passport should be accepted as it prove what they want to know.

sometimes this illiterate bureaucrats.........

do inform me what you did for that.

becoz it was issued on the day i was born and it is not updated with my name , which shld be done later...
