Iftar tents in Doha

Sorry for a very naive question, but still very new in Doha and a little lost ;o)

The Iftar tents that have been put up around town (not the ones at the big hotels, but the real Iftar tents) - are they available for everyone? I mean - is it ok for expats / non-muslims to go there?

IT'S A COMMON THING THAT NON-MUSLIM DO NOT FAST SO WHY THEY HAVE TO GO.
