Can i cancel my job offer after accepting?
Guys,
Need a big favor, actually i hav accepted a job offer from qatar. But when i checked with others they said the offer is not that gud. So i decided to cancel...I have informed the local recruiting firm. They said i will have to pay if they have issued the visa.
Normally wht kind of visa is issued? Employement visa or a work permit.
Do they stamp visa on passport before i go to qatar or after i go there or do they issue a letter?
How much will i have to pay?
Will i be able to accept another offer and go for a different company in qatar now?
The contract is for 2 years and still i have not got the visa, i only accepted the offer.
Please help me guys. Thanking you in advance
so, if m working for 2 months and 3 days in some company, they already stamped my visa. i hav probation period of 3 months.. can i go home and the company pays for my going back traveling tickets? is it rite???
If visa issued with your name and for some reason you dont want to come replacement is free for next employee. So you do not have to play anything and if somebody is asking something from you it is illegal and immoral. Only thing is that nobody can submit new visa in Qatar untill your visa is exist(maximum 6 months)
recently in one case my friend paid 320QR. I guess it should not be more than 500QR anyway.
Pay them, get your ticket and go but dont argue with them, talk politely and resolve the matter peacefully. So they will not impose any ban on you.
Qatar has many job openings regularly and keeping the doors open for you will be wise.
thank you guys for all the help. Please can any one tel me if i have to pay for the visa, how much will it be...
It would be a great help if you can tel me.
Once again thanks for all the info.
Maybe is better to pay the visa if you signed a letter of acceptance or assignment or something similar and you intend to come in Qatar. They obtained the visa based on that letter and your visa should be valid for one month.
They can not ban you as you didn't signed the official employment contract, to be registered and to take your residence visa for 1 year as your sponsor, so the single problem would be in the future in case they will claim the expenditures for the visa.
i have only signed the offer letter sent by the company. Nothing else. How much will be the visa charge?
have you signed anything? If not, how they can make you pay?
the visa process the company is doing and will not be charged to the agency.. even it is not expensive..
dont pay anything
