Hi, Kabayan,

I was locally hired here in qatar.and I plan to go to the Philippines, I heard of the OEC, HOw can I get this? Is it true I cant exit Phils without this even I have valid working visa here in qatar? If I need this, How can I get this? and how much fees I need to pay? Can I take OEC here in qatar? so that I dont need to go to POEA..thanks

Hi,

I raised the same question to POEA. I inquired there last week to know the documents needed to accomplish before going to Qatar and afterwards, if I needed to go back in here in the Philippines. I was also locally hired because I have residence visa under the sponsorship of my dad. According to the Phil. Labor Attache (POEA), I just have to go to POLO and register to OWWA. Now, after a year and have decided to go back, I have to secure OEC from OWWA which would serve as my exit visa. I guess it would be better to inquire in OWWA for definite answer.

go to OWWA and register yourself as an OFW.and get "balik manggagawa" certificate. i think you have to pay philheath as well.
