Expiry Date of Beer Cans ?
One of my friend, gave me 12 cans of beer, since he is leaving urgently to his home country.
On checking, I found Mfg Date is March 2009, and Expiry Date is March 2010.
He says nothing wrong in it,, the expiry date is just indication, need not follow strictly
- Can I consume the cans of beer, which expired in
March 2010
- what is the normal expiry life of beer, if it not opened
- What is the maximum loss of expiry life of beer
( in other words, can I consume beer which expired in
March 2009 )
12 cans of beer cost less when compared to your medical bills when side effects of expired beer attacked your body. Better to get rid of them and be safe than regret later.
Beer is drinkable at any time of any age.. The only thing you have to be vary of is the state of the can. Make sure it's not rusted..
The best option for you is not to risk it and donate the cans to QLSG..

The alcohol sterilises so no problem. Water bottles have an expiry date, WTF. It's water!
It is a Vintage Beer (4 months old)..
Remember, Whisky/Wine/Rum etc. DO NOT have any Expiry Date!!

In Kuwait, KDD (Kuwait Danish Dairy) used to distribute free juice that were expired a year ago to the general public, like if its Aug. 2010 today, the expiry is Aug. 2009.
I used to drink these expired juice almost every other day. And the taste was also much better.
What else can I say??
