Of Laylathul Qadr :-

فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ ]

(Therein (that night) is decreed every matter, Hakim.) means, on Laylatul-Qadr, the decrees are transferred from Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz to the (angelic) scribes who write down the decrees of the (coming) year including life span, provision, and what will happen until the end of the year. This was narrated from Ibn `Umar, Mujahid, Abu Malik, Ad-Dahhak and others among the Salaf.

Lets keep masjids full five times a day even after ramadaan. Let us pray for all the muslims and other humanity in difficult time, stop blood shed in Pakistan, Kashmir, Sudan, Somalia, wars in Afghnistan, Iraq, agony of gaza. Oh Allah make us amongst the sabreen and lead us to straight path, Aameen

May the last of our deeds be the best of our deeds..Aameen! the sahabah always felt sad when Ramadan ended. Yes we celebrate eid as legislated at the sighting of the moon. as rezy's said who knows if this laylathul qadr our names are among those decreed to die! Allahu aalim lets remain steadfast now. remember good deeds dont end with Ramadan and a sign that our ibadaa in Ramadan was accepted is that we continue doing good post Ramadan!

So, the end is soon but when? Is it based on the cycle of the moon? Or is a group of holy leaders going to let us know. I know there were some discrepancies as to when it started.

Al-Bukhari and Muslim record from 'Aishah that during the last ten days of Ramadan, the Messenger of Allah would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship). A narration in Muslim states: "He would strive [to do acts of worship] during the last ten days of Ramadan more than he would at any other time."

Aisha reported that With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. [Bukhari]
