Hi all.
My RP expires on Sept 9th.
I was told immigration is close for 10 days so my papers will be submitted for renewal after the expiry (after the Eid). Will I have to pay penalty? Will I be considered an illegal since I am here on an expired RP?

Some says that as per new QATAR LAW, a person staying after cancellation of RP should have to pay QR 30 per day..One can stay for only 7 days after the cancellation of RP..Kindly check with your COMPANY PRO..

I could be wrong too....

I also heard that for 3 months its okay,as long as you are in Qatar.and you won't have to pay any fine.
