Sponsorship transfer - working only 3 months
I've been in working in a private company here in Qatar for 3 months now, and I am about to resign.
The good news is that I am getting a NOC.
The only issue that is bothering me is that I am not finishing my 1 year period with my current employer.
So my question is that will this create problems to me for transferring my sponsorship to my eventual new employee?
1. I am ready to leave Qatar for a short period of time, if it helps something.
2. What if I get employed by a Q Company, government or a highly reputed international company? Can they do the transfer (using their name and reputation or even some ‘wasta’) without me leaving the country (Qatar)?
Thank you,
Thank you Alumnar,
I have also read for such cases (here in QL), but I just wanted to confirm, since here rules are subject to change very often :)
If you have an NOC you can come back under the new employers' work visa. But first speak to the HR Department of your new employer - I know of cases of people who have transferred to a new sponsor without having to leave Qatar. It will depend on the 'influence and contacts' your new employer has. Good luck :)
but there is no use of coming for one month only.
What about going back home and applying for a visa with the new employer?
Is it still required to have worked 1 year with the old employer, who is issuing me NOC?
there is a new rule that states if you are with an employer for less than 1 years and have been provided an noc the transfer is not possible
what can be done is u can come on a business Visa which is valid for a month
