please any one tell me if he know, i just crossed the line in the signals and radar caught me so they will forgive me or how much they will charge me? (i didnt cross the intersection just line)

But I think the basis of the fine is not whether your action causes accident or not, but the consequences of your action when you cross the line or bet the red light and/or violate a traffic laws.
Since you did not cross and did not cause any accident or traffic jam .. you will not be fined fully. It will be minimum amount of Qrs. 500/- But it depends on the video, coz after seeing the picture, they will also look into the video footage. If they find you did not cause any accident or jam.. they may not fine you. It happened to me last month. I crossed the signal and reach upto the middle but when realized that it was my mistake due to absense of mind, I just came back but by this time I was clicked by the camera 3-times. But so far I was not charged even a single penny coz they saw the video and found that it was not intentional.
Jumping Red Light Fine is QR 6000/- in case you crossed the intersection. If you just crossed the line & not intersection, the fine would be QR 300-500... depending on the intersection & mood of Shurta (Police Officer) :P

i've heard of this happen before, but people were still fined a smaller amount. just what i've heard, dont know anybody who this happened to.
