Don’t talk to aliens By Hawking

THE aliens are out there and Earth had better WATCH OUT, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist — but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all it that can to avoid any contact.

Sorry Wk i think my translation failed me.

Couple of weeks before Howking maid a statement that God doesn't exist.

His opinion is based on something called "probability theory "

yes i think this is the right name

but it is ironic how people accept the Idea of "Aliens Existence " without any prove "not even a single prove except it could be "

And at the same time they believe that this universe existed accidentally forgetting the FACT of the perfection in this universe and then earth which have been made and have been created by only one god almighty and no one share him his power to create every thing with perfection

why all of you are strict with speed of light?

Einstein discover the relativity theory when he flied beyond Newton theory,

you start calculating how much they need to reach.

Maybe their is something beyond light speed, or maybe they already start traveling thousands years ago.

But who are they " the aliens "

no one can prove their existence or deny it.

okay, You think I dont, upto you.

I still want a realistic explanation and would like to have some hard evidence, and that would still need to be explained by WK, specially when he started to talk about God, We should believe in a one God theory, for a simple reason, which well discussed over here, saying who is stronger means there should be fighting among them, which could not be true ever, and then when the non beleivers of a one God theory start to believe we can consider that everything is possible. I hope I did clarify myself, and that does not mean that everyone should believe in my beliefs at the end each of us has his/herown.

I will not go into another discussion about space travel at speeds faster than light..

Ofcourse using the Probability drive would allow us to cross the far reaches of the Universe in very short periods..

Recent events in QL have however made me question whether haha12 and his fellow spammers are infact Aliens who are trying to communicate in code which we have yet to decipher..

Do you think it possible ??

That's cool. 2 civilizations in our galaxy which has roughly a 100 000 lightyears diameter. (We are about 27.000 lightyears from the center of our galaxy.) Who the hell will travel thousands of years just to visit us??

By adey• 14 Sep 2010 18:06

The Drake equation (sometimes called the Green Bank equation or the Green Bank Formula) is an equation used to estimate the potential number of extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy. It is used in the fields of exobiology and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI). The equation was devised by Frank Drake in 1962.

The Drake equation states that:

N = R* x fp x ne x fl x fi x fc x L

where:

N = the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which communication might be possible;

and

R* = the average rate of star formation per year in our galaxy

fp = the fraction of those stars that have planets

ne = the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets

fℓ = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life at some point

fi = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent life

fc = the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space

L = the length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

Current estimates:

R* = 7/year, fp = 0.5, ne = 2, fl = 0.33, fi = 0.01, fc = 0.01, and L = 10,000 years

N = 7 × 0.5 × 2 × 0.33 × 0.01 × 0.01 × 10,000 = 2.31

So two communicative civilizations exist in our galaxy at any given time, on average, plus two hundred more that are not trying to communicate.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake_equation

NOTE - this is just in our galaxy not the whole of the universe. With the vast numbers involved when we consider the universe it is almost impossible that there is not intelligent life somewhere else in the Universe.

some of them might have been become black holes..!!

By anonymous• 14 Sep 2010 17:56

tailchopper, thats the problem.. we can never know it in our life times. the light itself takes about 4 years to come from the nearest star.

the present happenings in the nearest star can be seen only after 4 years....so, all these events happening around us in different stars and planets have no relation with us.

By anonymous• 14 Sep 2010 17:51

rish, a "typical" galaxy has about 200 BILLION stars.

if yes please don't do it again

each galaxy may be having millions of stars and some stars may be having the planetary systems. out of the thousand planetary systems, at least one of the planets may be having similar conditions as of earth.

if life started on earth by chance or by god...why not on the other planet?

not in the "logically issue"

why the second :yes?

If u are going to check our history, there are physical evidences that ancient humans had contact with the Aliens. That is why, we have unexplained Gigantic structures like the Pyramid in Egypt and Mexico, the Stone Henge, the Crop Circles and many more. Until now, there are still evidences that we are not alone in the Universe.

Guys, don't worry. Alpha Centauri is the closest star to our sun. 4.1 lightyears away. It will take a good spaceship around 6000 years to get from there to here. And this is the CLOSEST star, and no planets have been found orbiting it. Consider the size of the universe and you can rest in peace.

By anonymous• 14 Sep 2010 17:13

Ofcourse aliens exist.. It will be sheer arrogance to believe that we reside in the only heavenly body in this universe where life can exist.

By one_shot• 14 Sep 2010 17:12

So please next time don't try any kind of contact with them.
