i want to bring my newborn baby to qatar along with my wife. My wife is under my sponsorship. Is it mandatory to take a visa for the baby? or will this be issued on arrival at the airport?
It will be much helpful if any one give me the Govt web link regarding this.
I recently got my newly born son and wife from my home country. Here are the formalities, if your baby enters Qatar within 90 days from the date of birth, he/she will be eligible to get on arrival visa at Doha Int Airport, please carry the original birth certificate which will be inspected at the origin airport.
If you are (father) not traveling then, please send your signed Id and passport copy along with your wife.
Once your baby arrives here, go for medical, no need to carry your baby, you or your wife can pay QR 100 and submit the application for medical (typing can be done at the medical commission), after 3 or 4 days you can collect the report and then submit to immigration for his RP, which will be stamped at the same time, father and mothers passport copy with visa page and your babies passport copy, birth certificate and photo is required for the RP. If you require any further details you can email me or call me. ajesh73atgmaildotcom or 55869030
I am looking a link from any official websit such as moi or hukoomi.Because many of my friends says it should be with in 60 days. Moreover I want get a hard copy of it to give to the airport officials in my country.
